Walnut Creek Baseball Rec League Umpires
WCB has a need for weeknight umpires Monday through Friday for our Rec League.
These recreational level games are fairly relaxed and have very few problems compared to competitive level games during the week or on the weekend.
There will aways be a WCB Board Member at the facility to support you!
- Rate of Pay: $50 for each weeknight game umpired
- Umpire training will be provided
- Safety gear and uniform will be provided
Umpires typically work two games (5:40 to 9:40pm) each night with a 10-15 min break between games. Games are 85-95 minutes long depending on the age group.
You can work as little as two games or up to 10 games each week – your choice.
To be eligible for the Weeknight Umpire position:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Have your own transportation
- Be able to arrive at the WCB facility no later than 5:30pm each night.
We are looking to hire 6-8 umpires for the season.
Umpiring is not just for high school age kids! If you are an empty nester looking for something to do a couple nights a week and earn some money, Walnut Creek Baseball would love to have you join us.
